Basis SEBI Circular dated June 11, 2025, a structured Unified Payment Interface (UPI) address mechanism has now been put in place by NJ Mutual Fund. This mechanism provides investors with the option to transfer funds directly to the bank account of NJ Mutual Fund when making payments for investments through UPI mode.
Here's how the new UPI addresses work:
- Each intermediary will have a unique, readable name followed by an abbreviation representing their type. For example, abc.brk, if an intermediary 'abc' operates as a broker and xyz.mf, if an intermediary 'xyz' is operating as a mutual fund.
- The username is combined with a unique "@valid" handle linked to the intermediary's bank. For instance: : abc.bkr@validhdfc, xyz.mf@validicici
The below UPI ID has been validated with SEBI for receipt of investments through UPI:
- nj.epaynow.mf@validicici (investments through our digital platforms)
Invest Securely With SEBI Check
Use the "SEBI Check" tool to authenticate the UPI ID before making any payment. Look for the green triangle with a thumbs-up icon for validated intermediaries.
This indicates that the UPI ID is a SEBI-validated UPI ID for investors to transact safely and securely.

Please Note:
- Investors who have earlier transacted using UPI are requested to note that new UPI handles have been introduced. The existing handles will be discontinued soon.
- You are requested to authorise payment requests only if the UPI ID matches the one mentioned above. For a seamless transaction experience, please avoid transferring funds directly to these UPI IDs.
