Mr. Niraj Ravindra Choksi is the co-founder & promoter of the NJ Group, a diversified business Group, headquartered in Surat and has more than 26 years of rich experience in the financial services industry.

NJ Group has presence in businesses like Real Estate, Asset Management, PMS, Insurance Broking and Training. The Group is primarily engaged in the financial services industry wherein it has one of the largest networks of financial advisors in India. As the visionary founder of NJ Technologies, Mr. Niraj Choksi has been involved in providing guidance to and shaping the future of the technology business.

Mr. Vineet Nayyar
(Director & Chief Executive Officer)

Mr. Vineet Nayyar is a seasoned asset management professional with over two decades of rich and varied experience spanning operations, finance, business strategy, and technology. His career reflects a distinctive blend of exposure , having worked across both high-growth start-ups and established global institutions, bringing a well-rounded, multi-dimensional perspective to leadership.

A Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by qualification, Mr. Nayyar is also a Commerce Graduate from Lucknow University. He joined NJ Asset Management Private Limited in August 2020, initially serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, before being elevated to his current role as Director and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to NJ AMC, he has been associated with HDFC Asset Management Pvt. Ltd., Fidelity Fund Management Pvt. Ltd., and BNP Paribas Asset Management Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Nirmay Choksi
(Executive Director - Research)

Mr. Nirmay Choksi is a CFA Charterholder and holds a B.Sc. in Accounting & Finance (Honours) from The University of Warwick. He has been a foundational member of NJ Asset Management's investment research function since its very inception, having begun his career with the organisation as a Research Analyst.

Over the years, Mr. Choksi has played a defining role in shaping the AMC's research capabilities, most notably in the design and development of the NJ Smart Beta Research Platform, the AMC's proprietary in-house platform used for backtesting and evaluating rule-based portfolio strategies. He has also been instrumental in building and institutionalising several key research processes that shapes NJ Mutual Fund's investment philosophy. In addition to his research responsibilities, Mr. Choksi heads the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU).

Prior to joining NJ Asset Management, he gained early industry experience as a Financial Data Analyst at ETFGl, a leading UK-based data provider specialising in ETFs and ETPs.

Mrs. Punam Upadhyay
(Chief Compliance Officer)

Mrs. Upadhyay by qualification is ACS, M.Com and LL.B (Gen).

Mrs. Upadhyay has 19 plus years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal and secretarial functions. She has been associated with the NJ AMC since 2020. Prior to joining NJAMC, she has worked with organisation like Edelweiss AMC, BNP Paribas AMC, Pramerica AMC and Kotak AMC.

Mr. Viral Shah
(Fund Manager)

Mr. Shah has 20 plus years of experience in Rule- Based funds management with his analytical bent of mind, he has been the architect of various Rule-Based investment approaches like the MARS and PMS strategies at the NJ Group.

Mr. Siddharth Malhotra
(Chief Risk Officer)

Mr. Siddharth Malhotra holds a BBA from Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, GGSIPU, Delhi and has over 19 years of experience in the asset management industry with a proven track record of leading and managing back-office teams, ensuring efficient execution and operational excellence. Mr. Malhotra’s expertise spans operations, risk assessment and customer servicing. Mr. Malhotra has been leading the Investment Operations at NJ Asset Management Private Limited since January 2021. Prior to NJAMC, he was associated with Indiabulls Asset Management, Peerless Funds Management & Fidelity Funds Management.

Mr.Hemal Gandhi
(Head - RTA and PMS)

Mr.Hemal Gandhi, a Chartered Accountant by profession, comes with over 11 years of experience in customer service and RTA operations. In addition to overseeing Mutual Fund RTA and Customer Service Operations, Mr. Gandhi also leads the PMS business vertical and manages Business Process Management, including IT operations, automations and new enhancements. Starting his career at NJ Group, his last assignment involved heading Customer Service Operations and liaising with RTAs at NJ Wealth Distribution. He played a key role in establishing self-help platforms at the group level. His cross-functional experience spans Customer Service, RTA Operations, Investment Operations, and PMS Investment, coupled with a strong understanding of IT Operations.

Mr. Raja Ballapuram
(Investor Relation Officer)

Mr. Raja Ballapuram holds a Master of Information Technology (MIT) and has over 18 years of experience in the industry. He has been with NJ Asset Management Private Limited since November 2023. Prior to NJ AMC, he worked at CAMS Limited overseeing the Unit Posting Process, Redemption Payouts, serving as the AMC Coordinator, and managing MIS.
